WILL EISNER: THE EDGE OF GENIUS VOLUME 1
by Will Eisner
Best known for The Spirit, Eisner honed his craft in the comic book business during 1937-1940. Page by page, his genius unfolded with characters like Yarko, The Magician, The Black X, Doll Man, and numerous crime, and western stories. Included in this 160-page volume of early stories is a rare interview about the time when Eisner was on the edge of genius.
Softcover, 8x11, 160pgs, B&W $25.00

I was just thinking recently that while Eisner's Spirit and his later "serious" graphic novels have seen or will see multiple reprintings, and there were three or four biographies of him out or planned, there was a lack of his non-Spirit early work available, other than the one HAWKS OF THE SEA book. Then along comes this. Should be some interesting stuff.
